What an absolutely glorious day it's been here today, it's like summer. It's been so warm, no hot actually. Sat out in the back garden eating lunch with Mal and her squeeze, and the kids have been playing out all afternoon. Lets hope it keeps this way.

There's a slight chill in the air today which is a bit of a bum. Been out most of the morning painting kids faces to raise money for charity. Didn't go too badly but I was quite surprised that there weren't all that any people out with their kids!!

Afternoon to all. I've been out with the bf today. We went on our bikes up the old railway tracks to a place called New Ellerby, had lunch in the pub, and came home. My ass is numb from the saddle, and my legs are like jelly!

Been chillin out at home today. The ex-hubby and his current squeeze came to stay, so I put him to work putting a couple of brackets up in my kitchen to hold a portable tv and games consoles. Me and the girls have been doing a bit of the old Singstar this evening. I can see that becoming a regular fixture. Also played a bit of MarioKart on the N64. Also watched the latest episode of Doctor Who, fabulous.

Good morning everyone. It looks like it's going to be another nice day today. I'm off to mum's this afternoon for lunch, which I'm looking forward to. And tomorrow, the bf's mum is coming over for the day, so I'm going to have to clean up my house before she gets here

. I hate cleaning, so I'm going to put it off for as long as possible.

Well, I guess that work wasn't so bad. I got my wages for last week, so I was rich for about 10 minutes, then I had to hand it over to pay for my bills!

I'm feeling kinda weary now. I've had a busy couple of days. I spent most of yesterday emptying the girls bedroom, painting it in two shades of Mal's favourite colour in the whole world, then putting everything back again, and today I've been down to my mum's to do her garden for her while she was at work. I'm not used to all this physical malarky, it can't be good for you, might have to go and eat some chocolate so I feel better.

I'm so tired today, as I got naff all sleep last night. I suffer from sciatica, and it's decided to flare up again, so I'm in alot of pain right now, and have trouble getting comfortable

I know that when I cycled to your pad the other day, I couldn't get my breathe when I got there. Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that I had my mp3 on, and was busy singing along with it.

Today got off to a rather bab start, set off to work on my bike this morning and got half way down my street when the bloody chain decided to fall off. Hurray, my weekend starts now!!!! My working week is over thank goodness, my head has not been with it at all this week, and none of your lip Maladicta!!!!

I'm actually pretty weary today, not been sleeping too well this week and I think it's catching up with me. I got woken up at 2am this morning by the sounds of my gate banging, and as much as I tried to ignore it I couldn't so in the end I got up and went outside to bolt it shut. Of course I was wide awake by this time, and papping myself about going outside in the middle of the night and it being all dark in case their was some weirdo in my back garden LOL, I'm such a coward!!!!!

Last night I had the best nights kip I've had all week, and today I feel more tired that ever - where is the sense in that then! I am at present drinking a rather large cup of coffee whilst trying to work up a level of enthusiasm for the housework I need to do today - it's not going well!!

Well, I had to get up this morning, a Saturday, at 7am in order....to go.....to school!!!!!! School for crying out loud, I hated it the first time I was there, so going back there (yes to the same school I went to) was kinda weird. The reason for this is cos eldest daughter is going there in September and they were running some workshops to introduce them to the way of teaching at secondry school etc, and she wanted to go.

The workshops she chose to do were Languages and Drama! The language one was first, and we were doing Spanish - great lol!! It was ok though. The teacher was nice enough, made it fun etc, and now I can speak fluent Spanish, ok that's a lie I can count to ten and know the days of the week, roflmao. We did learn how to introduce ourselves also, but please do not test me as I don't doubt I'll have forgotten it all by later on.

The second workshop was drama, and I was totally dreading this. I don't do the whole 'getting up and performing in front of people' thing unless I'm completely arseholed, then there's no stopping me!! Any how in we went, and no sooner had we walked through the door than the teacher walked up to me and said those dreaded words - 'didn't I used to teach you?', and yes, she did LOL!!!!! She said she'd recognised my face the minute I walked in, I'm not sure if this was a good thing or bad. Any hoo it actually went well and wasn't half as bad as I'd expected it to be, in fact at times it was quite fun. I may be a sober performer yet!!!!!

Evenin' all!!! I went in the bath a bit a go, and am now still feeling totally boiling. Hot flushes and all sorts. It horrible. I thought at first it was just cos I'd got out of the bath and needed to cool down a little, but I'm still sat here totally baking and feeling really uncomfortable!!!

I have just had the most lazy bone idle easy peasy morning at work. Our reception front desk team have gone for some training at the PCT place, and so I've had to cover the desk. I actually hate being on there with people leaning over looking at you and stuff, it makes me all nervous like... but at the same time, there's pretty much sweet FA to do except book people in for their appointments when they arrive and deal with the odd query (which can be a nightmare when you've no clue what you're doing ha ha). So anyway, it's been ok sitting on my ass for 1hr 45mins doing not a great deal....

Today is going to be a boring as hell kinda day because I've got rubbish things like housework to do, *yawns*.

Having said that, Maladicta is paying me an ickle visit this afternoon to assist me in a mission I have.......

EDIT: I'm also grumpy because I've got to go back to work tomorrow after having over a week off, nightmare!

Going back to work wasn't so bad as I thought it might be. It would definately have been nice if it had have been one of my half days tho LOL!

What's not so nice however is sitting here at bloody midnight with a cup of tea because I can't sleep. I have these nights from time to time, and I usually just lay in bed feeling really tired and then getting really pissed of because I can't get to sleep, which then makes it even harder to nod off!! Tonight I have decided to be sensible and get up for a brew and chill for a bit to see if that helps. I did have some Chamomile tea the other night that Mal gave me and that was very nice and relaxing so I may have to invest in some tomorrow.

I have to say I'm feeling surprisingly chipper today considering that I was up til half bloody one this morning!! I anticipated have to use matchsticks at work to hold my eyes open, but they weren't necessary. How I'll feel when I get back from dance class tonight having exerted myself for a couple of hours remains to be seen LOL!

I'm had a good day so far, work was ok, not too busy, which is always good. And now I'm doing the forum rounds, and loitering on msn.

Today a new phone system at work went 'live' and all has broke loose LOL! There aren't any problems with it particularly, it has just seemed to be a chaotic time. Us Admin Girlies ended up having to take reception calls for making appointments up stairs because they were so busy down there, which was weird, because we've never been able to do that from our own desks before.

All in all it's been an unusual morning!! And to top it all off when I got in and went to get changed, I looked in the mirror to discover that a bird had shat in my hair on the way home!!!

P.s. The chamomile tea worked a treat last night, yay for sleep!!
