Dancing!!I just went back to my dance class tonight after being away for a few months and I have to say it was fab to be back!!
We've been learning routines to 3 songs so far, Tom Jones - She's a Lady which is a tap, Barry Manilo - Copacabana which is also a tap, and Cascada - Miracle which is a modern. These, and whatever else we learn, will culminate in a show in November - eek!! 
I'll keep you posted on the progress of the class.
So does anyone else do dancing, and not just the drunken stuff you do in a club, although if you've got a funny tale then feel free to share?!

I was very tempted to whip off my pants and throw at the cd player actually, how did you guess. It was very difficult to control myself!!!
Went round to Maria's yesterday afternoon to practice and we realised we'd forgotten most of what we'd learnt the evening before. It's a good bloody job the show's not til November isn't it LOL. To be fair tho we did remember more bits as the afternoon went on, just not necessarily where they fit into the routine.

No dancing tonight, Lisa just got back from the states this afternoon and she's too tired so I'm at home instead. Don't mind tho, will report on progress next week.

Dance class was good tonight. I felt like the routines were sticking in my - ahem - stupid head a bit more!!! We did some more to the Cascada one too, it's so bloody fast, but I reckon once I get more confident of the moves that it'll be ok!!

I haven't been to class for 2 weeks, because my brother was here last week, and I couldn't be arsed the week before. I have decided I'd better show my face tonight and hope that they haven't learned too much more while I've been gone...... Update later!

My brain hurts!!! I have to say, trying learn new dances when you're brain function is running at bear minimum is hard LOL. It has been a good night, but I kept losing my feet quite a bit ha ha. Me and Maria are gonna take to the garden over the next week and get some serious practice in. 2 weeks off is definately not good!

Class went really well tonight. I've pretty much got the Cascada and Copacabana sorted, the only one that I get mixed up with is the bloody Tom Jones. I keep getting totally lost and it's really frustrating. Maybe I'm too distracted thinking about throwing my knickers at the stereo (which I put on inside out when I got dressed today!!??) It is coming to me, slowly but surely. Me and my mate are gonna practice it this week and so hopefully I'll be a bit better at it come next Tuesday.

Dance was fookin grand tonight. It went really well, and I found it a lot easier to pick up the steps on that hideous Tom Jones number. We've also started learning our Irish, which I was looking forward to because they are always so great. It's to Lord of the Dance.

I love dance I go almost every week no a friday and my best mate/Brooke gose too. My mum/Maria and her best friend Zeo go as well they like to dance as well. They have not done any dance show they where doing to but my mum was preggnat and Zeo i don't no why she did not do the dance show. I hope she and Zeo do the dance show this time. I have done about 4 dance shows my first show was scery.  but by the end I loved it.
