Books in General - What are you reading?I'm definately a sloppy historical romance novel kinda girl! At the moment though I've strayed from that genre and am reading a bit of a psychological thriller called Warning Signs by Stephen White. So far so good, been a grizzly murder and you can now start to see there's going to be some fab twists to the plot coming!!
I've also got a couple more books by the same author called Blinded and The Best Revenge, which I haven't read yet. They're all centered around the same criminal psychologist character.
I bought The DeVinci Code the other week as well whilst in a charity shop. Not read it yet though, I need to get through all the other stuff first!! I've got plenty to keep me going for a good while.

I'm re-reading the Dragonlance Chronicles at the minute. I haven't read them in a while, so I thought it was about time I did. After that....who knows, it depends on my mood. My bookshelf is full to overflowing with different genres. I have the classics, such as Pride and Prejudice, Dracula and Vanity Fair. Then there's my slushy romance ones, my sex filled Jackie Collins, a row full of Pratchett, and then my Eddings and Harry Potter on the top shelf.
Not that I like reading you understand!

I'm sort of struggling through People of the Silence by Kathleen O'Neal Gear and W. Michael Gear. I've read two other books in the Prehistoric American series and enjoyed them very much, so have no doubt that this one is good, too. Unfortunately, it's kind of slow, so I might put it down for a while for an easier read.
I just got Demon Blade by Mark A. Garland and Charles G. McGraw from the Baen Free Library. I'll think I'll give that one a shot for now. I've never heard of these authors before, but that's all the more reason to try it out!
Incidentally, there are at least a few recognizable SFF authors in the Baen Free Library (such as Mercedes Lackey), and it's so cool that they're doing this. If anyone's interested, I'll provide the link.

Recently I don't have much time on reading what I want but I found "The Da Vinci code" and "Angels and Demons" pretty interesting.

I finished reading Warning Signs today and have to say I really enjoyed it and found that I couldn't put it down.
I'm going to start The Best Revenge tonight when I retire, hopefully this one will be as good. I reckon it will.

I am now currently reading a Torchwood book, and when I've finished that I shall read a book based on the Bones character Dr Temperance Brennan, which is where the idea for the TV series came from. Looks like it'll be good too, plenty of gore - hurrah!

I ended up putting down People of the Silence, unfortunately. Maybe I'll try it again sometime, since I enjoyed People of the Wolf and People of the Owl. Recently read two Dean Koontz novels, Dragon Tears (aka Ticktock) and Fear Nothing, and both are very good. I'm trying to read People of the Moon now. Hopefully I'll have better luck with that one.
