So, who's planning a flutter this year? Have you done so before? And have you ever had any luck?
I usually have a little bet every year, and I let the girls pick a horse each too. We've had a bit of luck from time to time, we always place eachway bets and I think last year 2 of my horses came in the top 4 so I was well chuffed!!
Does anyone have any tips? I usually just grab a paper on Saturday morning and look at the names and/or livery that the jockey is wearing!! Very technical stuff you know!

That's what I do! I'll be calling in the bookies when I finish work tomorrow.

It's a famous horse race that's held every year at Aintree.

I've picked Celtic Son and Thisthatandtother. So, at 4.15pm, I'll be glued to the tv, cheering my nags on!

Ok, the bets in my household go as follows:
Me - Joes Edge @ 9/1, L'Ami @ 18/1 and Numbersixvalverde @ 14/1
Brooke (11) - Monkerhostin @ 22/1 and Naunton Brook @ 100/1
Chloe (7) - Hedgehunter @ 10/1 and Royal Auclair @ 40/1
We'll be keeping our fingers crossed!!

We did pants in our house, I think two of mine finished - in 6th and 9th I think, and one of Chloe's finished but not sure where. Neither of Brooke's did unfortunately, but at least one of them was leading for a short time!!
What a curious race though. None of the 3 favourites even came in the top 4, I'm not sure how many of them even finished, and the start was a bit of shambles at first too!!

You should have snipered some botox in their ass, maybe they would run faster.
